Apply 6-8 ounces of Turf and Garden Pro product per 1000 square feet of lawn or garden.
Apply 4 ounces of Turf and Garden Pro product per 1000 square feet for smaller plants and flowers.
The product should be applied every 30 -40 days for the first six (6 ) months and can be applied more frequently if you are treating a bad spot, sick tree, shrub or plant.
After six (6) months of usage, you can cut back to one (1) Turf and Garden Pro treatment every 60 days.
Water as usual with the intent to begin cutting down on watering time as your lawn, plants and garden grow stronger and healthier.
Fertilize on your regular program but start cutting back the amount and the rate to eventually reach a goal of 50% reduction rate. You can also apply your fertilizer combined with Turf and Garden Pro especially if its a liquid-based fertilizer. Try it on everything and pay attention to your results. Use both as a FOLIAR SPRAY and a SOIL DRENCH.
Do not use Turf and Garden Pro within two (2) weeks of applying any poisons like herbicides, weed / feed or pesticides. Do this before you use Turf and Garden Pro wait two (2) weeks then begin the program.
REMEMBER: You can't over-apply Turf and Garden Pro because it WILL NOT burn the treated area. Basically, you are just wasting the product if you do use too much.
TIP: Some of our golf course and professional lawn care clients use the product on trouble areas at a rate of 18 oz. per 1000 square feet for a short period of time to get great results.
About the Turf and Garden Pro Spray Applicator
Our Recommendation
The new Turf and Garden Pro Spray Applicator is designed to run for approximately 20 minutes. This allows the user 5 minutes per 1000 square feet of application area to be properly sprayed. One (1) quart of Turf and Garden Pro will cover 4000-5000 square feet of application area - this depends on the pace of the person applying the product.
The new Turf and Garden Pro Spray Applicator is reusable and has been specifically calibrated for applying Turf and Garden Pro products.
About using a third-party hose-end sprayer to apply Turf and Garden Pro
Hose-end sprayers come in two different styles and are both available at your local Wal-Mart or independent supplier. The first version is the Dial-a-matic. This device allows the user to set the dial for the desired application rate. The maximum setting on the Dial-a-matic is #5. This equates to 5 oz. of product per 1000 square feet. We recommend approximately 6 oz. of product per 1000 feet but it will be close enough.
The other alternative is to utilize a 6 or 20 gallon rate sprayer.
About hand watering with Turf and Garden Pro
When hand watering garden plants with Turf and Garden Pro, use a 1 - 2 gallon watering can.
Add 6-8 oz. of product and fill up with water. The measurements don't have to be exact.
Apply the product to every plant in the house, every plant in the garden.
Soak the top layer of soil around the plant enough to go 1/2 inch down and move onto the next plant..
After applying Turf and Garden Pro water your plants to the normal levels.
Watering houseplants with Turf and Garden Pro is highly beneficial and actually removes harmful chlorine from your house's water. Use 3-4 oz. per gallon for houseplants. (about half the rate used on garden plants)
